Huichol art, its meaning\u2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The name Huichol is derived from the Wix\u00e1rika word, which means \"soothsayer or shaman\".<\/strong>\u00a0or \"deep-hearted person who loves knowledge\", the Huichol language belongs to the Uto-Aztecan language family. It is important to note that the \"Huicholes\" prefer to be called Wirr\u00e1rika or Wix\u00e1rika and in plural Wixaritari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
